Editorial Policy
Ledger & Wire holds itself to traditional standards of journalism: accuracy, independence, transparency and accountability. This policy describes how we report and what readers can expect from us.
Sourcing
All factual claims are sourced. Where possible, we link directly to primary documents: company filings, central bank statements, peer-reviewed research and government data. Anonymous sources are used only when warranted, and only when their information has been independently corroborated.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it openly. Substantive corrections are noted at the bottom of the article with the date of correction. To request a correction, email ledger@websloop.com.
Independence
We do not accept payment in exchange for editorial coverage. Sponsored content and affiliate links, when they appear, are clearly labeled and never influence what we cover or how we cover it.
Conflicts of interest
Reporters disclose any material personal financial interest in assets they write about. Newsroom-wide policies prohibit short-term trading in securities about which we have non-public information.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist with research, fact-checking and copy-editing. All published articles are reviewed and edited by human editors. AI-generated content that has not been reviewed by an editor is never published.
